“Just wanted to thank you for pushing to have something like this here at Razor and for being a great leader already. ¬†Just hearing a message for the little amount of time that we met today really motivates me and puts me back in the right frame of mind‚Ķ.b/c, like you said, the every day grind can really beat you down and put you in the wrong place.”

“On Michael‚Äôs way out of the office yesterday evening he asked if I had read the devotional for the day and my exact reply was ‚ÄúI really wanted to but it looked really long and I wanted to make time for it later‚Äù. What a terrible excuse right? How funny/wonderful that today‚Äôs devotional was about that very thing. I made time to read it first thing this morning. It‚Äôs just what I needed to hear and amazingly my pile of work, after being buried for days, disappeared before 4:30. GO GOD!!!!”

“Can you please add me to your Engage emails? I have heard how inspirational they have been for others and have also read some of them and they are amazing. What a way to start off a day. I never new we had such a group like this at RAZOR. I am going through some tough times and could use the blessings. I‚Äôm also starting to teach Sunday school and would love to bring stories to them. This will be my first time and I need all the help I can get.”

“Wanted to let everyone know that these emails can make a big difference in a day!  I am an old friend of Michael’s and we recently got to visit him in Dallas after several years of being away.  He caught me up on his vision and I told him to sign me up.
I’ll tell this briefly, but I wanted to give you an example of how God can speak to us in whatever way He wants to!
I was having a terrible day yesterday at work.  I got into it with my boss because I felt that my time was being underappreciated and I felt like I have been getting taken advantage of lately (I am salary and have to travel a lot and work long hours for the same money as if I was home).  This was affecting my whole day.  The week before, I had made plans to go visit with my cousin that I haven’t seen in a couple years this coming Saturday.  He called me yesterday and said that he was being sent to Wyoming on an emergency job and had to cancel.  Friday night, we were set to go see my 5 year old daughter cheer at the local high school game for the first time (she was very excited, and so was her mom). I got word today that that got cancelled due to the stormy weather we are expecting.  It just kept getting worse and I was getting very frustrated.
In the meantime, the men’s group of my church host a booth at the Octoberfest festival in Vinita, OK.  The coordinator had asked if I could help work it this year, which I wanted to do, but for all the plans I had listed above. Isn’t it amazing that at the culmination of all of my struggles and frustrations, that this morning’s email was about devoting time to God and His power to restore it to you!  So guess where I’ll be this weekend…”
