I received the following information this morning from Kirk, via Ruthie’s sister, concerning the memorial service. I couldn’t help but smile a little when I saw her middle name. That was always a guarded secret with Ruth. She’d be so irritated, and I miss that most of all. -PIX

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. – Colossians 3:15
I was just pondering on this verse as I was deciding to post this to you all. Have an excellent holiday! Take time with those you gather close to this weekend and reflect on what it is that we can be thankful for. God has blessed me this year simply from the fellowship of Engage. I am truly blessed by the Oneness of our Body, and thank Him for the peace that comes from being a part of it!
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. – 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Have a Wonderful & Blessed Thanksgiving!

ENGAGE NEWS
“when a man told me, “Saul is dead,” and thought he was bringing good news, I seized him and put him to death in Ziklag. That was the reward I gave for his news!” 2 Samual 4:10
Happy Mid-Day Everyone!
Couldn’t help myself from finding a funny random scripture to intro this message. Seemed funny to me at-least! What you are looking at is a wonderful new toy Daniel has given us today for our morning devotions and all communications. Now whenever I, or anyone on the leadership team post to the site, it will auto generate this email out to everyone. And beside being a nice clean format, you even have a convenient Facebook link at the bottom of the page to share.
I also want this to be a nice test before I start the morning off. If any of you have trouble reading this message, please let me know asap! Be sure to give Daniel a pat on the back when you see him for all him help with the site! I sure appreciate him!
Have a great night!

…’Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’
Matt 25:34-40
